A new storm cycle begins on Friday with just a few isolated afternoon thunderstorms. However, some of these storms could be severe with hail and strong wind. Besides these late day storms, most of the state will enjoy partly cloudy skies and comfortable temperatures in the 70s to around 80. This weekend will be stormy but there will be some times of dry, pleasant weather. Saturday morning will be one of those times for most of the state with partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures. Beginning around 2-3pm thunderstorms will develop and spread across the state through the evening and overnight. Sunday will start out with a period of quiet weather through the morning hours but rain and thunderstorms will spread from south to north through the afternoon and evening again. Highs on Sunday will only be in the 60s. Monday will be a showery and windy day with mountain snow above 6000'. Highs will only be in the 40s and 50s in the lower elevations, 20s and 30s in the mountains. Sunnier, warmer weather will start building across the state on Tuesday.
Have a great day.
