The state ended the month of May with warm temperatures and windy conditions. The month of June will start with temperatures trending in the 60s for northwest Montana, the 70s for central Montana, and the 80s for eastern Montana. By the afternoon, the clouds will build, and that helps kick off moisture and isolated thunderstorms in portions of southwest, central, and northeast Montana. The system will be short-lived and will move out of the state tonight. Tomorrow the entire state will have mostly sunny skies, comfortable temperatures, and slightly breezy conditions. The highs for tomorrow will trend in the 70s for the entire state. Wednesday, the wind will howl throughout the state. The temperatures will remain in the 70s and 80s.
