A HIGH WIND WARNING has been issued for Logan Pass, Marias Pass, Browning, Heart Butte, Bynum, Choteau, and Augusta for this AFTERNOON until SATURDAY NIGHT.

A WIND ADVISORY has been issued for the Livingston Area and Beartooth Foothills area until Sunday later AFTERNOON.

A WIND ADVISORY has been issued for Flathead Lake, Flathead Valley, Misson Valley, and Polson for tomorrow MORNING until Saturday NIGHT.

Today the wind made its debut and will continue to make itself at home for the next few days. The wind will increase along the Rocky Mountain Front this evening going into tonight. With an increase in Southwest winds, temperatures will slightly warm up. Tomorrow, the wind is going to be more widespread for the Treasure State. Light snow near the Continental Divide in the morning, and another cold front will move across the state on Saturday with a few scattered snow showers, and dominant winds gusting higher than 90mph in the afternoon. Marias Pass is expected to get 3 to 6 inches of snow, and with the wind picking up, it can cause difficult travel in the area. Sunday will be partly cloudy and very windy. A colder, snowier pattern is likely to develop toward the middle and end of next week.
