A HIGH WIND WARNING goes into effect tomorrow night until Saturday morning for Cascade, Toole, Eastern Pondera, Eastern Teton, Judith Basin, and Fergus.

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY has been issued for North East Montana until 9 AM.

Waking up today to a light mix rain/snow for northeast and southeast Montana. The light snow showers will be gone, and the temperatures will remain in the lower to mid-40s. Today will be another sunny yet breezy day. Friday will be mostly cloudy with increasing winds and light rain showers. A warm front will move through the state along with strong southwest winds that will create a warm-up of temperatures. Saturday, the wind will intensify, and near-record warmth is possible, some areas will reach the mid to lower 60s. If driving a high profile vehicle or pulling a trailer, it could be difficult. Saturday night, a fast-moving cold front will enter the state along with falling snow and dropping temperatures. The snow showers will continue into Superbowl/Ground Hog Sunday. Superbowl/GroundHog Sunday, another cold front will pass bringing unsettling weather, and dropping temperatures drastically. Monday, the state will be welcoming winter. The high temperatures in some areas will be in the 10s and 20s, and lingering snow showers are likely for the morning hours across the southern part of the state.
