Areas of snow will continue through Wednesday evening into early Thursday morning, but overall a drying and warming trend is headed toward Montana. After a few clouds and isolated mountain snow showers on Thursday morning, sunshine will develop making for a bright day. The wind will pick up across the state, gusting upwards of 25mph. Otherwise the weather will be pleasant with highs in the 40s to around 50 in the lower elevations, still holding in the 30s in the mountains. Friday will be partly cloudy and breezy if not windy. Highs will again be in the 40s and low 50s. The weekend weather will be mostly pleasant with highs in the 50s on Saturday and Sunday. A few isolated snow showers will continue over the mountains on Saturday afternoon. Sunday will have increasing clouds with a few isolated showers later in the day. There is an outside chance of an isolated thunderstorm. Snowflakes will mix in over the higher terrain. Monday will be partly cloudy with highs in the 50s to around 60. A colder, windier pattern with a chance at snow could develop around the 1st of April. No foolin!
Have a great day.
