Montana will have a few days of beautiful spring weather before a summery sizzle moves in with the possibility of record highs. Wednesday will be a very pretty day for most of the state. There's a slight chance of a shower off the Rocky Mountain Front but most of the state will be dry and mostly sunny. Highs will be in the 60s and 70s with a light wind. It doesn't get much better than this. Thursday will be another gorgeous spring day with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 70s. Once again the icing on the cake is little to no wind. Friday is when temperatures start to really climb as highs reach the 70s and 80s. With that heat, isolated thunderstorms will develop over the western mountains in the afternoon and drift down over the lower elevations through the evening. Saturday will be summer-like with highs in the 80s for most of Montana. Scattered thunderstorms are likely through the afternoon and evening mainly over western and southwestern Montana. Sunday will be partly cloudy with scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Highs will mainly be in the 80s but a few towns could come close to 90 for the first time since last September. Slightly cooler temperatures with scattered storms will continue early next week. With the rise in temperatures, snowmelt out of the mountains will be accelerated. Please keep this in mind.
Have a great day!
