Warmest Weekend So Far

Posted at
and last updated

Above average temperatures and active thunderstorms will continue through this weekend into the first week of June. A large high pressure has developed over the four corners states which will pull warm air and moisture up into Montana. While the weekend days will start out dry and sunny, thunderstorms will develop through the afternoon and evening. Keep this in mind as you're out and about enjoying the warmth. Highs across the state will be in the 70s and 80s, but a few towns like Missoula could eclipse 90. Monday is the first day of June and the pattern will continue with warm temperatures and scattered thunderstorms. This pattern will persist through the week but a return of more rain, colder temperatures, and possibly mountain snow are likely by the first weekend of June.
Have a great weekend!
