Special Weather Statement issued July 23 at 5:37PM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT

At 534 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles south of Belt, or 28 miles west of Stanford, moving northeast
at 5 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include…
Sluice Boxes State Park and Raynesford.
Torrential rainfall is possible with this storm, and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is also occurring with this
storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Great Falls.
