Friday, August 10th has already been a record breaking day for heat in Montana.  Towns like Chester, Chinook, Choteau and Cut Bank have already broken their record high.  Many other towns are within a few degrees of their record high, and within 5-10 degrees of their all-time hottest temperature ever recorded.  Saturday will be another day with record heat, as some places in eastern Montana reach between 110-113 degrees.  The hottest temperature ever recorded in Montana was 117, occurring once  Glendive and once at Medicine Lake.
