Friday, August 10th has already been a record breaking day for heat in Montana. Towns like Chester, Chinook, Choteau and Cut Bank have already broken their record high. Many other towns are within a few degrees of their record high, and within 5-10 degrees of their all-time hottest temperature ever recorded. Saturday will be another day with record heat, as some places in eastern Montana reach between 110-113 degrees. The hottest temperature ever recorded in Montana was 117, occurring once Glendive and once at Medicine Lake.
