Calm, Clear and Warm Weather Today

While some areas started off very cold this morning, this Wednesday’s weather is looking nice thanks to high pressure moving in.  Afternoon temperatures will be slightly warmer than yesterday, and statewide there will be plenty of sunshine.  Thursday, isolated thunderstorms will begin to move into southwest Montana in the afternoon hours, around 2-3 pm.  These storms will push north towards Helena and Great Falls throughout the afternoon and evening.  Friday will be generally clear, but there is a chance of an isolated thunderstorm or two developing along the hi-line or near Great Falls.  Saturday, a cold front will move through, bringing more widespread thunderstorm activity along with it. But the weekend won’t be completely soggy- these storms will be out of Montana by Sunday, and the beginning of next week will be mostly sunny with nice comfortable temperatures in the mid-70s.

Have a great day.
