One Last Really Warm Day

Happy Friday!

Today could be one of the last really warm days of the year, as highs will climb into the 80s to near 90.  A few thunderstorms will pop in the afternoon and evening, but they will not be as widespread as yesterday.  Make sure to hydrate if you are outside in today’s heat.  This weekend looks pretty nice, there will be a cold front impacting the state on Saturday.  A few isolated thunderstorms are possible early in the morning followed by partly cloudy skies through much of the day.  By late in the afternoon, a few thunderstorms will redevelop as that cold front moves through the state.  Highs will be warm again, reaching the 70s and 80s.  A stronger west wind will move through, so please keep in mind the fire danger.  Sunday will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the 70s.  Air quality should be “good” for most of the weekend, although some haze may be visible at times.  That makes a pretty good weekend in my book!  Toward the middle of next week, more fall-like weather will move into the state.

Have a great day!
