Dry conditions return to start off our weekend

and last updated

After starting our morning very chilly with temperatures near freezing in many areas, afternoon highs for Friday will warm up to be in the 60s and 70s.

After a few days of rain, we will see generally dry conditions today with plenty of sunshine moving in this afternoon before clouds roll in again this evening.

Some good news, temperatures will rise back to normal on Saturday afternoon. Across the state, highs will reach into the 70s.

But, a cold front will move through Saturday evening which will once again bring chances of showers, some isolated storms, and mountain snow back into the forecast.

A few remaining showers could be possible Sunday morning. Temperatures cool back down on Sunday to near or below normal.

Temperatures in the 60s will continue Monday and the remainder of the work week with the next chance of rain after Sunday coming in on Wednesday.
