One Last Calm Day Of Weather Before Big Changes

It’s been an absolutely picturesque Autumn day.  Scattered showers early this morning gave way to beautiful blue skies this afternoon.  Tomorrow will be a warmer day, but cloud cover will build up as the day wears on.  Thursday is when the big changes will begin- a cold front will move in from our north, which will significantly decrease temperatures and bring lots of moisture along with it.  After Thursday,  rain and high-elevation snow will stick around for a while, thanks to a static system off the Pacific coast. Northwest flow will dominate through the end of this week, along with cloudy, wet weather.  Another low-pressure system will move into the Pacific Northwest on Sunday, eventually making its way to Montana by Monday.  This low will bring more rain- potentially a mix of rain and snow.

Have a nice evening.
