This morning, there is some light snow moving through north-central Montana, but that will be very brief, moving out by this afternoon. Clearer conditions are coming this afternoon into Friday! We’ll get another dose of fall before winter strikes again on Saturday.
A Canadian cold front will move into Montana starting overnight Friday into Saturday, bringing a huge drop in temperatures and snow along the Continental Divide. Helena and Great Falls both have a high chance of snow on Saturday.
But if the prospect of an early winter has got you down, there’s still good news yet! Snow will move out by Sunday, and there is plenty of sunshine in store for next week. There’s still plenty of time to enjoy the crisp autumn weather.
Have a great day!
