A Few More Sunny Days For Montana

Posted at
and last updated

The sunshine is hanging on in Montana, but not for much longer. High pressure has been in place over Montana and the Pacific Northwest for over a week now, which has caused a few issues with stagnant air in Washington and Oregon.  A few locations in Montana, including Helena, have Moderate air quality this morning, but that should improve as the high pressure moves out.

The ridge over the western United States is still in place but will begin to break down by midweek.  Thursday, big changes will begin for a large portion of the state.  Light rain will begin, continuing through Saturday.  Sunday, we’ll get a quick break with some sunshine, but Monday will begin with rain again.
