We’re off to a chilly start this morning, and most areas won’t reach above the freezing point today.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for the following areas: Hwy 12 from Garrison to Elliston, MacDonald Pass, Georgetown Lake, Elliston, Homestake Pass, and Butte. Snow is still falling west of Helena, and these areas will get the worst of it. However, the rest of today is going to be clear for most folks. High pressure has moved in, bringing sunny conditions for today and the beginning of tomorrow. Things will begin to change Friday as a cold front moves in from the northwest. Late Friday night, flurries will begin in north-central Montana, but if you’re already asleep by that point, you’ll be waking up to it Saturday morning. It’s going to be a fairly snowy weekend before things clear up (as per usual) on Monday.
Have a great Thursday!
