This week is off to a chilly start- afternoon highs today will just barely break the freezing point. But thanks to a ridge over the Western U.S., we will stay nice and clear for the first half of the week. Midweek, this ridge will break down, which will change up our weather quite a bit. Sunshine will give way to precipitation on Wednesday (mountains) and Thursday (valleys.) Friday, a Canadian cold front will come through, bringing a mix of rain and snow which will transition to snowfall overnight. While there is no fresh precip expected for the weekend, roads will still be slippery for weekend travel.
Have a great week!
