Temperatures will warm slightly today while cloud cover and winds increase. A HIGH WIND WARNING for the Rocky Mountain Front will go into effect this afternoon. Winds will begin to pick up in the late afternoon hours due to a developing lee side trough. That trough (and the high wind warning) will remain in place through Wednesday night.
While it will be a windy day, we’re going to stay dry. Precipitation comes back into the picture on Thursday night, beginning as a rain/ snow mix, and transitioning to snow by Friday. This snowfall will be very widespread but will move out quickly, making way for clear skies on Saturday and Sunday.
Have a great day!
