Brrrr! Snow, wind and much colder temperatures blasted through the state on Wednesday. While there wasn’t a heavy snow accumulation, the snow did stick to the roads and now they are icy. Please use caution driving Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Temperatures overnight will dip into the 0s and -0s. Some of the normally colder spots in the valleys will drop to as cold as -10 to -20! Thursday will start out very cold, but with abundant sunshine the temperatures will rebound into the 20s for most locations. The mountains and northeast Montana will have highs hold in the 10s. Friday will be another chilly but sunny day with highs in the 20s and 30s. Quiet weather will continue into the weekend as the temperatures slowly moderate. There will be wind across the Hi-Line and northcentral Montana. Highs will be in the 30s and 40s for most of the state, 20s in the mountains, 10s in extreme northeast Montana. The next chance of snow will come through on Monday night into Tuesday morning, with just a few snow showers. A larger storm is progged to come through with snow and wind mainly in western Montana on Wednesday.
Have a great day!
