This year will end much like it began- snowy and very, very cold. After heavy snow that came through this weekend, roads are slick and snow-covered. For this reason, the Lewis and Clark County Sherrif’s office is urging people to stay off the roads this morning. They have issued a Civil Emergency Advisory to warn travelers that roads are in rough shape today. There is also a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in effect for southern Lewis and Clark County, and A WIND CHILL ADVISORY for the hi-line. It’s a chilly, slick day out there, so if you’re traveling, be careful.
2019 will start off similar to the end of this year, but as a chinook develops later this week, temperatures will warm back up into the 40s and even 50s for favored spots.
Have a happy new year!
