Today, the temperatures started out relatively warmer, but most spots are still below freezing. The Helena Valley has had inverted temperatures for the last few days, and today is no exception. The extra-cold temperatures in the valleys will continue for the rest of the work week, while locations on the plains see a slight warm-up.
However, don’t get used to the milder-than-usual temperatures- a cold front will push through on Sunday, bringing snowfall along with it. As this arctic air hits Montana, our temperatures will be significantly colder for the first week of February.
