Spring Flooding Continues This Week

Posted
and last updated

The flooding will continue this week as we see continued warm temperatures in addition to more precipitation.  This afternoon, north-central Montana will get a brief dose of rain, but Wednesday afternoon through Friday is the main timeframe for active weather this week.  This will begin for north-central Montana on Wednesday afternoon as a mix of rain and snow.  This mixed precipitation will transition to heavy, wet snow on Thursday and Friday.  Fortunately, the snow will be out of here for Saturday and Sunday, but next Monday will bring another round of winter weather.

FLOOD ADVISORY is still in place for north-central Montana due to the potential for worsening flood conditions as the week progresses.  A WINTER STORM WATCH is in effect for southwestern Montana for the time period between Wednesday afternoon through Friday, when the wintry weather will hit.
