Winter Weather Not Finished Just Yet

Posted at
and last updated

Flooding continues across the Treasure state. In north-central Montana, the FLOOD ADVISORY remains in place due to mild flooding across roads and on the plains.  The Missouri River near Landusky, MT is at moderate flood stage, and there is still a FLOOD WARNING in place there.

In addition to flooding, Montana will also see some more winter weather this week. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for a large portion of southwest and north-central Montana.  Mixed rain and snow will begin this afternoon for north-central Montana, transitioning to heavy, wet snow by the evening.  This system will linger through the end of the work week, finally clearing out by Saturday.  While we will briefly see the sun this weekend, this reprieve will quickly be followed by the next system, bringing mixed rain and snow to our area by Sunday afternoon.  The first few days of April will bring (snow) showers.

Have a great day!
