Good Monday morning.  Hop aboard the roller coaster this week.  Monday will be a quiet start to the week with partly cloudy skies and a light breeze.  An area of low pressure currently off the Oregon coast will move onshore later today.  This system will impact Montana on Tuesday with rain, snow and even a few thunderstorms.  Early Tuesday morning, snow will break out over the southwest part of the state including Helena.  Wet snow and some rain will move northeast through the morning into the early afternoon.  As the snow moves northeast through the day, temperatures will warm enough where more of the precipitation will fall in the form of rain.  A few thunderstorms are likely in eastern Montana.  Wednesday will be unsettled as well with showers of mixed rain and snow, a few isolated thunderstorms, and much of the state will be very windy.  Thursday and Friday will be beautiful with mostly sunny skies and much warmer weather.  In fact, Thursday and Friday will likely be the warmest days so far this year as 60s will be common on Thursday, and a few 70s are possible Friday.  A cold front will put an end to that warmth Friday night with showers and a few thunderstorms.  Right now, Saturday will be partly cloudy with a few isolated showers.  Easter Sunday has the potential to be a cooler, wet day with snow in the higher terrain.  Easter egg hunts may need to be inside.  Stay tuned…

Have a great day.
