Above average temperatures continue today with 60s and 70s. Temperatures in eastern Montana will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Breezy winds continue with some areas seeing wind gusts between 30-45 mph. Red Flag Warnings issued for counties in northeast and eastern Montana due to the low humidity, breezy winds and warmer temperatures. Fire concerns are mostly in dry grassy areas. A cold front sweeps through the state Friday afternoon and evening bringing precipitation back in the forecast. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible with the cold front. Best chance of seeing thunderstorms will be a line from Great Falls to Lewistown to Lincoln. More rain is expected on Saturday with cooler temperatures in store. High pressure begins to build once again by the start of next week. Temperatures will warm back into the 60s and 70s by next week.
