Winter Weather Hanging On Through The Bitter End Of April

Posted
and last updated

A WINTER STORM WATCH has been issued for areas above 4000′ in the Rocky Mountain Front and the following counties: Cascade, Judith Basin, Meagher, and Choteau.  Snowfall accumulations will be between 4-8″, which could affect travel in these areas.

Rain will pick up this afternoon in north-central Montana, continuing through the evening hours.  While we’ll get a short break from the moisture early Saturday morning, it won’t last long- mixed rain and snow showers will move in, beginning by late morning/ early afternoon.  This wintry weather will be here to stay, with chances of snow each day through the end of April.

Have a great weekend!
