Overnight showers will continue today, with snow above 6000.’ A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is still in effect for locations above 6000′ in elevation in Cascade, Meagher, and Judith Basin Counties until midnight.

Today, the overcast conditions will continue. Showers will taper off by late this evening, and we’ll briefly dry out overnight into Thursday morning.  The next low-pressure system will approach by Thursday afternoon, bringing the chance of showers mainly to the southern half of the state. Helena will likely see a touch more rainfall than Great Falls.

Friday will bring another bout of afternoon showers to end the work week on a rainy note.  The gray skies will continue for the holiday weekend, but this low pressure will move out by mid-next week.
