Showers and storms for the first week of summer

Over the weekend, Montana saw scattered showers, winds, and even some high-elevation snow. For the first full week of summer, we’ve got more rain on tap.  Today, scattered showers are moving through north-central Montana, but will clear out by the overnight hours.  Tuesday will begin quiet and dry, but rain will quickly move through again Tuesday evening.

Wednesday and Thursday are when things really begin to change.  As a low-pressure system approaches, the chance for severe thunderstorms increases.  Widespread rain and thunderstorms, strong winds, and severe weather are all possible midweek.

We’ll calm down slightly on Friday, although the chances for rain and thunderstorms remain throughout the end of the week.

Have a great day!
