A HIGH WIND WATCH has been issued for the Rocky Mountain Front for Friday into Saturday.
Happy Thanksgiving! The minor storm system from Wednesday will be moving out in time for the holiday. As high pressure moves in, the pressure change will result in a moderate wind across the state. However, there will be a decent amount of sunshine with near average high temperatures in the 30s to low 40s. There will be a few isolated mountain snow showers with a light accumulation possible. These could be the final flakes for a while, as general high pressure conditions will keep the state very dry into the beginning of December. Black Friday will be bright and sunny, highs will be in the 40s to near 50. Strong wind will continue across the Rocky Mountain Front and north-central Montana. Saturday a weak cold front will pass through with a few isolated snow showers, otherwise it will be partly cloudy and windy. Highs will be in the 30s and 40s. Sunday will be sunny with highs in the 30s and 40s. High pressure will continue through most of next week. Each day will be mostly sunny if not completely clear, temperatures will be slightly above average. No minor or major snowstorms are likely until the middle of December.
Have a great holiday.
