Not only do we have beautiful weather, but there is an emerging comet that is visible to the naked eye. Comet Neowise is now visible in the early morning eastern sky. Look just above the horizon about 80 minutes before sunrise for the next few days. By July 12-15, Neowise will be visible in the northwest sky about 80 minutes after sunset. As far as the weather goes, it's a beautiful stretch of summer conditions. Thursday will be mostly sunny with light wind and highs in the 70s and 80s. Thursday night after midnight, a cold front will pass through with scattered thunderstorms. The front and storms should be clear of Helena and Great Falls by 7am. Scattered storms will move through central and eastern Montana through the morning hours with clearing by early afternoon. This weekend will be fantastic with sunny skies, light wind and temperatures in the 80s and 90s on Saturday. Sunday will be windy as a dry cold front passes through, highs will be closer to 80. Cooler highs in the 70s will be common early next week but there will be abundant sunshine. As rain becomes a little more scarce, fire danger inevitably will go up. The next chance of rain and thunderstorms will be late next week.
Have a great day.
