Today the state will see clearing, but pop up spotty showers will fall in the higher elevations during the afternoon. The temperatures will remain cooler for today. The highs will stay in the 70s for central Montana, and the rest of the state temperatures will trend in the 80s. Tomorrow high pressure will return to the state, allowing for the temperatures to climb back into the 80s and 90s. Saturday, the temperatures will remain warm, the wind will pick up, and the beginning of the day will start dry, but scattered showers will develop during the afternoon. Sunday cooler temperatures, wet weather, and overcast skies will carry us into the beginning of the workweek. The most torrential downpours will fall in central and western Montana.
