After such a beautiful Fall day yesterday, the skies will remain clear, and the wind will be calm, which will create frosty conditions this morning. The wake-up temperatures stayed in the teens, 20s, and 30s in southwest and south-central Montana. The last few days until we enter the month of October, we will have an area of High pressure stationed over the western U.S. that will result in a dry and mild weather pattern ahead. The next few days will be great days to take in the beautiful Fall colors around the state. The highs today will stay in the 60s and 70s. The wind will be slightly breezy at times, but not quite windy like this past weekend.

Tomorrow high pressure will continue to build, and sunny skies will be accompanied by above-average temperatures. The high temperatures will climb to the upper 70s and low 80s until an incoming front works its way through the region and drop the temperatures back into the 60s and low 70s on Wednesday.

Wednesday will be another sunny day, but the temperatures will be a tad cooler.

It's always good to remember to protect sensitive plants and above-ground equipment from freezing temperatures.

Have a great day.
