The temperatures for today will remain in the 80s. Another chance for isolated thunderstorms is likely. Central and north-central Montana is currently at a marginal risk, meaning isolated severe storms are possible. The system will be limited in duration and coverage, but the further southeast the system moves, it will intensify to a slight risk. Slight risk means scattered, and severe thunderstorms are possible, and the system will not be widespread. But it is also good to remember any storms that become severe will be capable of producing damaging winds, large to a quarter size hail, and frequent lightning.

Tomorrow the state will have a better chance for stronger storms. An isolated to scattered thunderstorms is likely across a large portion of the northern Rockies and High Plains. The high temperatures will stay in the 70s for central and western Montana; the 80s and 90s for eastern Montana. A cold front will push through the state, and the wind will howl across north-central Montana. The temperatures for Wednesday will cool to the 70s.

Enjoy your day, and congratulations to all the 2020 graduates🎓! A.R.😊
