With the temperatures warming up, a lot of snow will continue to melt and leave the roads wet and scattered with slush. In the upcoming days, the roads will improve. Today will be slightly breezy, and the highs will trend in the upper 30s and mid to low 40s. A weak front will pass and bring a mix of rain and snow to eastern portion of the Hi-Line.
Tomorrow locations in eastern, western, and portions of central Montana will welcome highs in the 50s. The wind will be slightly breezy at times.
Friday, another front will work its way through the state. But before the front moves through, the highs will again reach the 50s.
Halloween will be a tad cooler and windy due to the front scheduled to pass Friday afternoon. The strongest winds are expected over the Rocky Mountain Front and areas along the Hi-Line. A ridge of high pressure will continue to build over the western half of the U.S., and most of the state will have mostly sunny skies.
Have a great day.
