Today will be the last day of seriously hot temperatures in Montana. A cold front approaching from our west will usher in a dramatic temperature change Thursday, along with heavy cloud cover and rain. Thursday will be an overcast, showery day, but the rain will taper off by Friday. Temperatures will gradually rise through the end of the week after the cold front exits the region. Additionally, we should stay dry for the weekend as a westerly flow pattern sets up over Montana. Next week, there will be another strong low-pressure system that brings cooler, wetter weather by mid-week.
