The passage of yesterday's cold front cooled the temperatures, kicked up the wind, and brought showers and thunderstorms to the state. Today's daytime highs will remain in the 70s and 80s. Breezy conditions can be found across the state. Most of the state will remain dry, but there is a slight chance for a few isolated storms to move across the southern half of the state.
Saturday, the temperatures will gradually warm up. The high temperatures will top out in the upper 70s and 80s. Isolated storms will favor portions of southcentral and the eastern half of the state.
Sunday into next week, the heat returns to the state. The high temperatures will jump into the 90s and triple digits.
Next week the heat returns to the state. Daytime highs will climb into the 90s and triple digits.
