A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for the East Glacier region.
A HIGH WIND WARNING has been issued for near Big Timber.
A WIND ADVISORY has been issued for Livingston through Columbus.

There are a few weather highlights for light snow around Glacier Park, and for wind near Livingston and Big Timber. Otherwise the weather is pretty quiet. This pattern will continue for a few days without a major storm in the works until the weekend. Wednesday will be a mostly sunny day for most of the state. Strong wind will blow over the plains. Another minor storm will move through on Thursday with mainly cloudy skies. A few snow showers are possible over the lower elevations while the mountains will see a couple inches accumulate. A cold front on Thursday night will bring colder air in briefly, that will not stick around. Friday, strong west wind will push the cold air out of the state. The wind will blow in with a new Pacific storm this weekend. Mild air will move throughout the state. A few rain and snow showers are possible east of the Divide in the lower elevations. The mountains west of the Divide will have significant snow between Saturday and Sunday. Sunday afternoon a few snow showers are possible with the passage of a cold front. The wind will be the worst aspect of this storm this weekend. Powerful winds will blow on Saturday, with the wind intensifying on Sunday. HIGH WIND WARNING conditions are likely, with power outages possible. A better chance for light snow in the lower elevations will come on late Monday into Tuesday. This is the best chance for snow to linger on the ground for Christmas Day. Christmas right now looks to be a mostly sunny day with near average temperatures.
Have a great day.
