Quiet Across America

It's quiet, a little too quiet. Unusually tranquil weather has spread across Montana and the entire country. Besides air stagnation issues in Oregon, and some coastal flooding in Louisiana and Florida, it's "crickets" for most of the United States of America. The benign weather will continue for the weekend and into next week, great news for any people that plan on traveling for Thanksgiving. This weekend will be very nice for November in Montana. Both days will be mostly sunny, breezy across the plains, with highs close to average in the 30s and 40s. A minor disturbance will move through western Montana with a few snow showers on Monday. This system will not have a significant impact on the state. Tuesday will be windy and mild. A cold front will kick off some snow showers early on Wednesday, but accumulation will be light and little. Wednesday's wind will be a bigger issue for those driving anywhere in Montana. Thanksgiving day will be partly cloudy with a few snow showers, but little to no accumulation will occur. Highs will be in the 20s and 30s. It should be a good day if you are traveling, and a good day to get outside before or after holiday dinner. Enjoy the quiet weather while we have it.
