Rain is rolling in, but it won't last all weekend

Rain and high-elevation snow have begun to move into Montana overnight, and will continue to push eastward throughout the day. Snow should stay above 5000' while rain will fall in the lower elevations.

Saturday, the chance of precipitation lowers as a high-pressure system makes its way towards the Treasure State. This increase in atmospheric pressure will bring dry, windy, and warm weather for Sunday and Monday.

Temperatures for Sunday and Monday will be much closer to the seasonal averages for this time of year.

Next Tuesday, another strong cold front and low-pressure system will bring another dose of snow to Montana.
