Rain, rain, and more rain will impact the state for the next couple of days. Steady rain will develop over portions of western and north-central Montana. With the potential for heavy downpours, rivers, streams, and creeks could experience rapid rises in water levels along The Rocky Mountain Front. The Rocky Mountain Front is expected to get the most torrential downpours; they can see anywhere between 2-4" of rain. The high temperatures for today will remain below average. The highs will stay in the 50s for most of the state, while areas in the southwest will struggle to reach 50 degrees, eastern Montana temperatures will remain in the 70s and 80s. Tomorrow will be another wet day for the state. The temperatures will be slightly warmer but will remain below average. The highs will climb to the 60s and 70s, but areas in southwest Montana will stay in the 50s. Wednesday, the sun will return back to the state, but rain showers will still fall. Thursday, we will have mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures.
