After a few days of persistent rainy and dreary weather, it's finally coming to an end. Scattered showers will continue through the rest of the morning, tapering off by late afternoon. The low-pressure system that is driving this rainfall will push eastward throughout the day, followed by a weak high-pressure system behind it. This brief period of high pressure will bring drier and warmer weather for the end of the work week. By the weekend, as westerly flow prevails, temperatures should stay warm and skies clear. Rain will stay out of the forecast until the beginning of next week.
