Finally, a dry day! Not only was Thursday sunny and dry, but it was much warmer. Temperatures will continue to climb to near normal over the next several days through the Independence Day Weekend. Friday will start out sunny and dry with temperatures warming into the 70s and low 80s. Scattered thunderstorms will fire through the afternoon and evening. Saturday is Independence Day, and there will be afternoon and evening scattered thunderstorms again. Highs will reach the 70s and 80s, but drop in any passing thunderstorm. Sunday will be a slightly drier day with mostly sunny skies and just a few isolated thunderstorms. Highs once again will be steady in the 70s and 80s. Isolated thunderstorms and highs near 80 will continue on Monday. Another wave of low pressure could increase thunderstorm activity on Tuesday.
Have a great day.
