Slight Relief From The Heat

Posted at
and last updated

After the passage of yesterday's cold front, the temperatures will hold back today. The highs will remain in the 80s, but overall today will remain dry. High pressure will continue to build into the area, and bring mostly clear skies.

Tomorrow will be sunny and hot. High pressure will allow the temperatures to regain its strength. The temperatures will boost back into the upper 80s and low 90s.

Thursday, the ridge will track eastward, and an area of low pressure will move in and bring scattered thunderstorms. The highs will stay in the 90s.

Thursday's front will cool off the temperatures for Friday. The high temps for Friday will drop nearly 10 degrees in some areas. The conditions will be dry, and the wind will increase. With all that in mind, fire concerns will rise on Friday.

Always remember, if working outside, make sure you take breaks, drink plenty of water, try to minimize sun exposure, and finally NEVER leave children disabled adults or pets in a parked car.

Have a great day,

A.R.😊
