A BLIZZARD WARNING is in effect for the East Glacier region.
A HIGH WIND WARNING is in effect for most of central and eastern Montana.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for southwest and northeast Montana.
A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect for the West Glacier Region.
An AVALANCHE WARNING is in effect for the Swan, Whitefish and Flathead Mountains.

There's a lot going on across most of Big Sky Country. Strong wind continues to be the driving factor for most of the state. This wind has gusted as high as 95mph near East Glacier. The wind is creating blowing and drifting snow, resulting in dangerous travel near East Glacier. Strong wind is responsible for blowing dust/debris which has reduced visibility over other areas of the state. Widespread strong wind, mountain snow, and mixed rain/snow will continue through the night and into Tuesday. Tuesday will be a blustery day again with scattered snow showers across the land. Several additional inches likely will accumulate in the mountains. Highs will be cooler, in the 30s for most of the lower elevations. Some scattered snow showers will fly Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Wednesday will gradually turn mostly sunny with highs in the 20s and 30s. Thursday, clouds will increase with snow flying in the mountains. Some light snow will develop over the plains as well. Thursday will be another windy day across most of the state. Friday will be windy with widespread snow showers and highs in the 30s. Some colder, Canadian air will briefly spill into the state on Saturday. Areas of snow will move across the state with a couple inches of accumulation possible. Sunday will become mostly sunny and temperatures will rebound. Monday is March 1st and the first week of the new month looks fairly tranquil.
Have a great day.
