Extra hold hair spray was necessary on Thursday. Wind gusts topped 60mph in some areas. Strong, uncomfortable wind will continue over the next several days. The wind could blow in some rain showers and even some snow through Friday into parts of the weekend as temperatures drop below average. Another storm will plow into the Pacific Northwest on Friday. Clouds will spread across Montana with rain showers near and west of the Continental Divide. Highs will only be in the 50s and 60s. Wind gusts could top 40mph. Showers will move through the state on Friday night into Saturday morning with snow levels dropping to around 6000'. Saturday will be partly cloudy and very wind again. High Wind Warnings may be issued. A disturbance will move into western Montana late. Scattered rain and snow showers will move over the mountains through the night into Sunday morning. Temperatures will be cold enough for some flakes to mix in down to the valley floors and plains by Sunday morning. The only accumulation of a few light inches will be in the mountains. Sunday will become mostly sunny but temperatures will remain cool in the 50s to around 60 for highs. The wind will be gusty again up to 30mph. Monday will be a warmer and mostly sunny day. High pressure will move in for beautiful fall weather for the remainder of the week.
Have a great day.
