The weather over the last few days almost makes you forget last year around this time, portions of the state was buried in snow. Today will be a pleasant day, but the passage of yesterday's cold front will keep the temperatures a tad cooler. The highs will stay in the 60s and 70s, and a few clouds will linger in the morning but will dissipate by afternoon.
A high-pressure system that has been contributing to clear skies and comfortable temperatures will start to shift. Portions of the state will have a little more cloud cover, and unfortunately, a southwesterly flow will allow smoke and haze to move back in from the ongoing fires in northern California. Thankfully, the smoke and haze will not impact the air quality too much.
Friday, lingering smoke will be a distant memory as another front move through early in the day.
Enjoy your day.A.R.😊
