Sunny skies briefly return

Posted
and last updated

Behind the passage of yesterday's front, low clouds, fresh snow, and patchy fog will stick around through the morning hours; in portions of central and north-central Montana. The high temperatures will cool near 20 degrees in portions of eastern Montana. Good news for some; a weak ridge of high pressure will briefly move in and will offer up mostly sunny skies.

Tomorrow, the clouds will replace the sun, and another round of light snow will fall in the mountains of southwest Montana. The lower elevations may see a few lingering flurries. Snow showers will continue into Saturday morning.

Saturday will start with light morning snow showers, and by 9 am, the system will track southeastward. The highs will remain in the 30s.

Sunday, another batch of moisture will move in, bringing a wintry mix to the mountains and possible rain showers to the lower elevations.

Have a great day,
A.R.😊
