There will be a messy morning commute for most of the state; the roads have frozen over, and many areas in central and southeast Montana roads are slick. If having to take the kiddos to school or run a few errands, take it slow. A few showers will linger in the higher and lower elevations of northwest Montana. The sun will return, and cooler air will stick around. The highs will only reach the 30s and 40s.

Saturday and Sunday will be pleasant. Most areas will have mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 30s and mid to low 40s.

Monday, a weak system will bring light showers to the mountains west of the Divide and a little more cloud clover to the state. The highs will reach the 40s.

Tuesday southwest wind will increase, allowing the high temperatures to jump back into the 50s.

Have a great day,
A.R.😊
