Good Morning! Today is Friday, October 2, 2026.

Warmer temperatures return today as highs are going to be in the 70s in most locations. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny today, with decreasing clouds this morning and increasing clouds late this afternoon and this evening. A couple isolated showers are possible today, but most locations will remain dry. Breezy conditions are also expected today across a lot of north-central Montana with sustained winds of 10 to 25 mph, and gusts of 30 to 40 mph are possible.

A weak front will pass through our region tonight, producing a few showers and cooling the temperatures down for tomorrow as highs will be back in the mid to upper 60s and low 70s. Tomorrow will be partly to mostly sunny, with increasing clouds. It will be a bit breezy in northeastern Montana tomorrow with sustained wind speeds of 10 to 20 mph. Elsewhere, little to no wind is expected tomorrow.

Sunday will be a gorgeous day with abundant sunshine, dry conditions, and mild temperatures as highs will be in the 70s. There will also be a bit of a breeze around along the Rocky Mountain Front and across eastern portions of north-central Montana, with sustained winds of 10 to 20 mph.

Very warm temperatures are expected early next week as highs are going to be in the mid to upper 70s and low to mid 80s, with Monday being the warmer day. A few locations may even set a new record high temperature on Monday. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny on these two days and dry conditions will continue. Monday will be a gusty day with sustained winds of 10 to 25 mph, and gusts up to 40 mph. Breezy conditions will continue Tuesday with sustained winds of 10 to 20 mph.

Wednesday and Thursday will be partly to mostly sunny and dry as an upper-level ridge remains in control of our weather. It will also continue to be warm on these two days as highs are going to be in the 70s in most locations. There will also just be a little breeze around with sustained wind speeds of 5 to 20 mph.
