A FIRE WEATHER WATCH has been issued for the entire region. The watch will go into effect tomorrow afternoon until tomorrow night.

A LAKE WIND ADVISORY has been issued for Flathead/Mission Valleys for strong winds and rough waves.

Sayonara smoke, and hello sunshine. The air quality is currently between good and moderate. Today will be an overall pleasant day; high pressure will give off clear skies, the wind will blow comfortably, and the temperatures will stay in the 80s.

Tomorrow fire concerns increase for the state. The temperatures will warm to the upper 80s and low 90s, the humidity is expected to be in the teens, and the wind will intensify. Tomorrow will not be a good day to take the boat out on the lake. A lake wind advisory has been issued for Flathead/Mission Valleys and will go into effect tomorrow afternoon until tomorrow night. A Canadian cold front will work its way through the state southward tomorrow night into Sunday morning.

Sunday is when significant changes will arrive in the region; following the passage of the front, the temperatures will cool nearly 20 to 30 degrees. Scattered showers will fall in the lower elevations and snow in the higher elevations. The highs will cool to the 50s and 60s.

Monday, rain and cooler temperatures will stick around; it will not be until Tuesday that temperatures will slowly regain its strength.

Also, always remember any fire can ignite quickly, and spread rapidly under dry and breezy conditions.

Have a wonderful weekend,
